At Little Hoppers n’ Floppers, we’re more than just a rabbit boarding service—we’re a home away from home for your furry friends. Founded by rabbit lovers for rabbit lovers, our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and comfortable environment where your bunny can thrive while you’re away. We are dedicated caretakers and have a passion for all things bunny, we ensure that every guest receives personalized care, plenty of playtime, and the attention they deserve. About Aly Fergus
Aly realized her deep passion for rabbits after rescuing her first rabbit, Snickers, several years ago from a home where she was sadly being mistreated and neglected. Aly and her spouse Tarryl then adopted a second rabbit, Sneakers, a couple of months later, to be Snickers companion and life partner.
From there Aly began her education in rabbit care and became involved with two local rabbit rescue organizations, where her and her husband Tarryl began their volunteer and rabbit fostering journey.
Aly and Tarryl live on a quiet acreage near Stony Plain, AB., and they are now the proud parents of 8 rescue rabbits and 2 senior rescue dogs.
Aly has become an advocate for rabbits, and strives to help educate the public on proper care and the humane treatment of rabbits, through both her work with rabbit rescue organizations, and now through her rabbit care business.
As a medical foster care provider for Precious Rabbits Rescue and Sanctuary Society, Aly has developed the ability to successfully handle medical crisis situations, and she has become very experienced in dealing with rabbits who are experiencing GI Stasis emergencies, recovering from spay and neuter surgeries or dental procedures, and in medication administration.
After becoming a bunny Mom, Aly realized the lack of, and the need for, professional boarding services that were specifically designed for, and catered only to rabbits. In 2023, Aly set out to open a business of her own offering this service to rabbit guardians. Little Hoppers n’ Floppers is the first rabbit specific boarding service of its kind within the Edmonton region, and Aly is very proud to be offering this unique service to her clients.
Aly strives to provide her clients and guests with a safe, secure, calm, quiet and clean environment, where rabbits have ample space to explore, binky, and play, and where they also get the level of care that rabbits need. Aly treats every guest like they’re her own family, and shows her dedication and passion for these little critters through the services she provides.

If your looking for the best place to board your bunny. This is the best place! I can guarantee that your bunny will have the best of care and will be loved. They go out of their way to make sure you bunny is healthy and happy. We had constant communication with the owner and received pictures of our bunny while in care. The owner knows alot about the care of rabbits and we learned alot from her. When our rabbit decided she didn't want to eat well. The owner was on top of it and able to take care of her with syringe feedings until she was eating again. Our bunny came home happier then when she left. We will be forever grateful to Little Hoppers n' Floppers for their amazing care and new knowledge we gained while Floppy was in their care. I would recommend them to anyone with a 5 out 5 stars.

Thank you Aly with Little Hoppers n Floppers for taking such great care of our bunnies! I am very picky with care for my pets but felt very confident that they would be taken care of. Aly is very knowledgeable about bunnies and provided frequent updates with pictures. They even made special arrangements for my bunnies who like to be neighbours but aren't bonded, so they could still see each other like they do at home. The enclosures are spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend Little Hoppers n Floppers and we will definitely be back.

Little Hoppers n’ Floppers has been a lifesaver. I have had rabbits for almost ten years and this is the first time I have found a boarding facility that caters to them specifically. I can finally leave town and sleep soundly at night. This business is rabbit focused and built for comfort and cleanliness. The pens are large, with easy to clean walls and a built in little hidey house. The business owner has rabbits of her own and knows what behaviours and signs to keep an eye out for. Aly takes detailed notes about each clients routines, likes and dislikes, and dietary restrictions. She also provides text updates and pictures on your fur-babies as frequently or sparsely as you request.
My two bunnies initially spent a weekend here and warmed up quickly to the change in environment. We returned for a two week stay a month or so later, and my shy rabbit immediately ran up into the built in hidey house and flopped. I was relieved to see he was excited to be back and felt so comfy in the space. My other, more rambunctious rabbit, is happy with the coming and going of the facility, whether it be Aly on her frequent check ins, or the other rabbit clients and their humans. She loves the social aspect of greeting new people. When I came to pick them up, I had a hard time coaxing them back into their carriers to leave. We can’t wait to use this service again, and can’t recommend Little Hoppers ’n Floppers enough for folks looking for a safe place to board their rabbits.

Being a bunny parent herself made us confident in her taking care of our 3 boys while we were away. The designated area was roomy enough for them and they loved the hutch! It was nice not having to bring so many of their things as necessities like bowls, hay rack, even a litter box were provided. Aly was very accommodating and very attentive letting us know daily how they are doing in their new environment. We also appreciated how organized she was in terms of paperwork and checklist processes to make things easier for both of us. We highly recommend staying at Hoppers n Floppers for any bun!
